Yellow Hands

Toni Bartl’s idea of bringing ordinary objects onto the stage as music instruments reaches its spectacular highpoint in Yellow Hands!

Five real professionals beat away at impressive sound instruments in this fascinating multimedia performance, like for example a gas driven fire organ, two-part sewage pipe organ, a sewage pipe drum set and various instruments made from footballs, bellows, clay pots, drainage pipes, etc..

Short film sequences are repeatedly brought in over a special motorised screen, showing in a comical way how the five sound artists came up with the idea of their mad musical instruments.

Yellow Hands manages without language and has already won several international prizes.
